HEADINGLEY: Pakistan at last tasted victory by defeating Australia after 15 years at Headingley on Saturday.
In a nail biting finish, Pakistan managed to grab a historic win after loosing seven wickets.
Defeat in each of their last 13 Tests against Australia, including the recent debacle at Sydney in which a first-innings lead of 206 proved insufficient to secure victory, Pakistan managed to grab historic win against Aussies.
Pakistan, chasing 180 to win, finished on 180 for seven after losing four wickets for 40 runs in morning session after resuming on 140 for three.
Mohammad Aamer was five not out and Umar Gul, who hit the winning run, unbeaten on one. Mohammad Aamir declared man of the match.
